Why am I getting an “Error saving settings: Error: connect ECONNREFUSED” error message?

You may get the “Error saving settings: Error: connect ECONNREFUSED” error message when setting up the Enterprise Server if the ITmanager.net service fails to start during the installation.

The solution is to uninstall the Enterprise Server and then reinstall it.
